In China people like slogens. When I arrived 10 days ago in Beijing, and saw the red banners here and there on the walls, I was thinking what should be the slogan of my trip this year, and just by chance I remembered suddenly a good one written by Satish Gupta, my favourite Indian journalist, the author of the column "zen black, zen white":
